I know I knew the region name before those came out.
No they didn’t tell you the name till gold silver came out lol.
I was a bit older when I got into the games, so I guess that made it easy for me to pay attention.
I remember calling it “Indigo” based on the “Indigo League”.
Yeah I know I just remember when we didn’t know it’s name and called it the Pokémon world.
The Kanto region, which is where Red/Green/Blue/Yellow that place.
I once lost my Pokémon Blue cart and then like 18 years later I found out it was inside a box of pencils on my desk. It was right in front of my face every day for the last 18 years…
Surprising the save file still works so I transferred my Pokémon to Pokémon Stadium (which uses Flash memory). Maybe one day I will get my Pokémon to the modern games.
It’s a lengthy process requiring a third party device to back up a cart save file to a computer and a modded 3DS to replace the Virtual Console save file with it.
Kento? Lol I pulled my old red blue one though 3 gens before I lost the cartridge now my short list of Pokémon to get is Squirtle, ralts, gastly and torchick.
Definitely. It’s also my preferred Kanto starter.
When I first played Pokemon I choose charmander as my starter.
