They were useful because they stopped Cozy from escaping.
True, though their numbers did stop her from escaping, so there was merit
I get you, still seems a little overkill but I guess that’s the joke
It sort of makes you wonder how in the world did Equestria survive for as long as it did before Twilight and the Element Barers came along?
Well, considering the reputation they’ve garnered, it’s probably that most they can handle :p
Though seriously, I suppose when that one pony has drain ALL the magic in Equestria, it’s probably considered a very great threat.
It’s like if one girl stole all the world’s oil (or some other extremely valuable resource) in our world. Even for one girl, there would be quite a hunt.
Think this is there response for people pointing out there were no guards in the movie
Yeah, but all things considered, if Neighsay had told Celestia and Luna that Cozy was a manipulative psychopath, even at her age, they probably felt that any attempt to capture her would have to be through sheer numbers to even subdue her.
Hey, at least Flash Magnus did well whipping the guard into shape.
I think they’re also sad because a child managed to cause so much trouble XD
This was before the Royal Guard got some well-deserved training from Flash Magnus to finally get them up into a position where they won’t be pushovers anymore.
Though you can tell from their sad expressions that, as far as they know, even if they capture Cozy, it will be a Pyrrhic Victory, as it is already after sunset, so as far as they knew at that point, their magic was gone, probably permanently.
This is like the assault on Pribyslavitz.
Where was this military power when they needed it during the Crystal Empire crisis in season 3, the Changeling Invasion in season 2 finale, and season 6 finale?
Where were they during the Storm King invasion?
Edited
Yeah, you’re right about that. I had better knock it off for a while. This is only building my excitement for School Raze as it is.
You’re spoiling yourself by looking at these screenshots without watching the episode.
Yeah, but I haven’t seen it myself, but it is making me excited for what happens. At least Celestia and Luna won’t end up being stuck in cocoons like back in the Season 6 finale.
This feels like version 2.0 of Twilight’s Kingdom, just minus the loss of the cutie marks when they lose their magic.
People looking at this image and images with this tag have already seen the episode, or at least that’s how it should be.
Ah, thanks.
@Dogman15
Sorry, I was playing it safe due to making a hypothesis right now since the US debut is still a few weeks off.
You don’t need to hide that behind a spoiler, this image already has the “spoiler:s08e26” tag on it.
No, I mean I’m in agreement
What? Too much with the spoiler info?
This
Think about it: She had Neighsay tied up, thereby holding a high-ranking government official hostage, she duped the Elements of Harmony bearers into entering Equestria’s maximum-security prison, trapping them inside and unable to help anyone, and stolen the artifacts Celestia had entrusted to Twilight to imprison Starlight with, while also endangering the Tree of Harmony and all of pony-kind in the process. If that doesn’t constitute a life sentence with Cerberus as your guard, nothing does.
