Well, I myself wonder it. It’s rather from a short, but I thik there is a small possibility it’s from the start, or ending of the the upcoming 45 minute special (that was once though to be named “The Other Side”).

Well, there is love that is not instant, and there are no reall hints of an even growing (romantic) relationship. As I wrote in the comment you respond to, if there was anything building between them, Sunset would worry Flash forgot her redeemption - which she didn’t at all in Forgotten Friendship. That’s not even mentoning that Sunset still has more on screen interractions even with Starlight and Trixie, than with Flash, so there is, as of yet, little “time” of them “building up” towards a hypothetical romantic relationship.
