Also, how were AJ and Fluttershy able to get home at the end of the episode? I mean, I’m not a huge railway expert, but don’t trains usually pass up stations that are closed?

I thought it was funny, though agree with the contention that the screentime could’ve been better utilised elsewhere.

Anyone else think this felt like a gag out of Futurama?

I’m probably alone on this, but I absolutely love it when cartoons or movies have creepy old guys who approach people in the least likely places and say something ominous and creepy. Like the old guy with the cart full of knives in Willy Wonka, or the guy who says “Watch it, kid!” in Home Alone 2. They just have to have been waiting in that spot for someone to appear for weeks, and they’ve been probably been practicing their creepy laugh while waiting. Nothing in the world makes them happier than scaring the pants off of completely innocent people who are just passing by, especially kids since they’re easier to scare. I mean, just look at this pony’s face! He’s enjoying every single second of his maniacal laughter! He lives to see the horrified expressions on the one or two ponies that go to that station a month! He’s giving this everything he’s got! He’s not wasting this opportunity to permanently scar these two ponies for the rest of their lives!

I called him Cryptkeeper Pony. Hope an actual name is found for him.

I’m surprised Screwy Louie didn’t get a fan-made name yet.
