I have never seen OK KO and I do not know who Dendy is. But I know Moondancer. Is Dendy anything like Dende from Dragon Ball Z?
Moondancer is a character from the show, mentioned in season 1.
I guess Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts) comes close, though there’s really only two main girls, maybe three.
Or, if you don’t mind a protagonist who becomes so unlikeable in the latter half of the series that the ending almost comes as a relief, there’s School Days. Just do not watch it expecting a happy ending. I did (not knowing anything about the original visual novel) and was violently let down.

A bot OT, but can you think of any harem anime that are serious and not comedies? Yes, there are a few that are horror-based, but I’m trying to think of a truly “I’m stuck in a situation where a lot of girls like me and I don’t want to hurt any of them by choosing one and this is serious business” sort of deal?
It is not any one anime, it is an entire genre. Usually romantic comedy harem anime.
