Admittedly none, I remembered a lot of cards that can summon DMG from the deck, but presumed it was specifically her when most of the Magician-themed card that call her out work for any Level 6 Dark Spellcaster… which in hindsight makes Sunset at odds with them.
 
But, eh. A second pass to have them power up on “Magician Girl” monsters, and to only make them count as DMG on the field or in the GY, would make these way better, but I just did them for fun so oh well.

I admit that you probably wouldn’t, but feel that it should be noted since it’s still limiting your options even if the options it’s locking you out of aren’t necessarily good ones. (It’s limiting potential boosting since you can’t put as many Dark Magician archetype cards in your deck, but said potential isn’t really a practical goal.)
 
That said, what is the reason they need to be “Dark Magician Girl” in the deck though?

Well, that doesn’t have much to do with boosting. That aside, I’m aware of that ruling and “so?” The normal DMG is pretty useless anyway, I see no reason to run her over these two, and would you want to run that many copies of them in the first place?

“Name always treated as” includes for deck building, you wouldn’t be able to put three Dark Magician Girls & 3 each of these fan cards in a deck; only up to three of any combination of them.
 
It’s the reason most Harpie monsters say that they’re treated as harpie lady on the field & in the graveyard instead of always.

The fact that they’re always Dark Magician Girl limits their potential boost.

on the flip side, DMG gains 300 for each “Dark Magician”, these gain it for each Dark Magician card, as in any card with “Dark Magician” in its name.
 
In hindsight though, would have been better to make it work for “Magician Girl” monsters instead

You are correct that DMG gains 300 for every DM in Grave, But these increase by 100. Its almost a neglectable amount of ATK increase.

Remember that “this card’s name is always treated as ____” effects affect deck building too.

Dark Magician Girl also counts for the effect to increase the attack (also the original Dark magician Girl have a similar effect, but she gains 300 atk instead)

The 100 ATK increase seems a bit unnecessary.

Huh. Pony cards with a nice design, fit into an already existing archetype and have decent effects. That is rare indeed, though their effects should say “target” instead of “select”.
