Description

A full mock-up of one of the cards I made based on “On the Road to Friendship,” with the aid of my wonderful assistant Phil Srobeign.

Sorry for the delay on this one. Would you believe I got waylaid in Somnambula?

Welcome to my Animar, Soul of the Elements deck my friends (Odd, because usually with Fan I find things I want to put in my Aurelia the Warleader deck). This is pretty much Karametrea’s Favor + Umbral Mantle + Training Grounds + Spireside Infiltrator et al
digiman619

@Phil Srobeighn
No actually; Training Grounds explicitly say that it “can’t reduce the amount of mana an ability costs to activate to less than one mana.”, so no getting it below 1 mana. Forgot that the ability will go from 1U to U and that the mantle will produce U to effectively make it cost 0. Yeah, that’ll work amazingly. So I suppose the ideal play would be T1 Breeding Grounds, mana dork, Paradise Mantle, T2 Steam Vents Thousand-Year Elixir, T3 basic land, this guy, equip the Mantle, Bolt, but that’s probably Magical Christmas Land talking.

Oh, wow; slap a Paradise Mantle on her and you get “1: Copy target instant or sorcery spell. You may choose new targets for the copy.”
