PROCESSTwilight is made from lilac, midnight blue, fuchsia and custom dyed purple minky.
She is approx 40” tall from ear to toe. Her horn, wings and cutiemark were embroidered with a Bernina 830LE embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software. Her eyes were manually sewn with a sewing machine using applique. Her pattern was designed by me. She has 3d hooves and ears. Her neck and front legs can rotate.
Please do not ask for the pattern, under no circumstance will I be giving it out.

Finally got the pics done for this girl! I haven’t made a lifesize pony in YEARS, so I was so exited to get to make this girl. Ended up making a special pattern for her that legs her head and front legs rotate. She’s so adorable, I especially love that front view. She does take up a lot of space though! Very heavy girl (would estimate around 8kg+).

Please comment/fav. It means a lot to me. I read and appreciate every one.
Unless you have proof of them doing something abusive or illegal towards others you’re just talking shit.
Well, except criticism she could never take in the past. Now there isn’t much room to criticise but her image of a rude and arrogant person stays.
I guess it can’t stand on its own and that is why she holds it with her hand.
I don’t remember what interview but most cartoons aimed at kids go for characters no taller than the age group they’re aimed at. In the case of MLP:FIM they’re supposed to be ‘little’ ponies plus they were meant to express cat-like behavior. That notion was kind of abandoned post season 2 but they’re meant to be a lot smaller than most people seem to think. I would say an alicorn would be about eye level with a seven year old.
It takes thousands of hours to gain the skills to make plushies like that. It’s not just about knowing how to sew. You have to know multiple ways of sewing. You need to know how to measure, all the different kinds of fabric. You have to be artistic. You need the right equipment and supplies-that stuff alone is VERY expensive. Most of all you need to have business acumen in order to know how to keep track of payments, how to deal with customers, taxes, how to deal with issues that crop up. It’s a huge investment in time, money and resources. The reason Hasbro or Build-A-Bear and companies that sell merchandise can sell plushies so cheap is because they’ve already sunk billions of dollars into developing large scale manufacturing. They can buy stuff in bulk and have machines to do a lot of the work and have many people to do all the small stuff machines can’t cover.
It all comes down to the fact you’re not buying a doll. You’re buying a work of art that just happens to be a large doll based on a cartoon character. The cost is paying the artist for their time, effort and skill-things that take a long time (and a lot of money and effort) to acquire.

For me it’s the most realistic size and also it’s alicorn Twilight so she is slightly taller than normal mare.
How can this plushy sold so expensive?😨
Very cuddly.
Hnggggg!
That’s a size I like.
@zidders
She actually said that?
I mean when comparing Rarity’s size to Opal, I’d assume she’d be bigger than that. But I’m not too good with math so I could be mistaken.
I do know that real life Shetland ponies can be around 27 inches but they can grow up to 40 inches like the plush.

How tall is the human? Also, Twilight have actually gotten taller and bigger after she became alicorn. That said, I am wondering if they have made Celestia or Luna yet. They are both bigger then Twilight.
Ponies from the show would be much smaller. This is bigger than life size. Lauren Faust meant for them to be like large cats. About three heads tall or 27 inches/54cm
Based on the rest of their work they’re made using a reinforced skeletal structure so yes.
Their plushies that size range from $2500 to $5000.
