Better than mine… Mine has her as being Diamond Tiara’s sister/cousin who is never talked about.

Oh! At first, I kind of went with it as an aesthetic choice (I really like old-timey pilot outfits, they always look so cool), and because her design and demeanor reminded me of the gen 1 show (so I took some elements from Lofty, one of my favorites, who tends to get drawn with a pilot getup). I also have a kind of silly headcanon about her being related to Wind Rider, since the two of them share a lot of similarities in both being pegasi and how they go about things (well-liked and amiable, but can be very deceitful if they want to be). It’s kind of a silly reason, but I liked it well enough, so it kind of stuck.

Why is it that she’s portrayed as looking like a pilot when she’s older?
