The source offers more background on the picture and says that Luna is very protective of Sombra, because she knows that ponies with the kinds of pasts that they have don’t have it easy. If you clicky the source there’s other stuff too, but that’s the short of it.

Having a giant spike on the top of your head may seem like a great idea, but it’s a real mood killer when you always have to be mindful when physically interacting with others.
