My advice? Play with the colors and shading a little on the last panel. It took me a while to see Starlight’s magic because, not only it takes half the screen, it also has similar color to the sky.

Another method to sell the effect would be to make cloud disperse from the magic, like if the magic goes through the clouds and rips them apart, making a “hole” in the sky.

Anyway good comic. I like it.
