I’d miss it, it’s cute, different and refreshing. There’s something more than the other pictures with thick horses in them, making yours really pleasant to look at, you’ve got a talent for that.
Mlp sometimes give them eyebrows and sometimes no, moon dancer is one. :)
If that’s the case then adding the lines (that’s what I will call them since you claim them not to be eyebrows) above the eyes will still look good.
Eh…it’s the artists choice in the matter. If I can help I will try. :)

It’s more like OP’s work… Difetra is more into stuffing/inflation/gut bursting than simple weight gain.
Yeah like the other guy said - those aren’t “eyebrows”. That’s a common cartoon thing. It’s an outline of someone’s facial expression, because it’s a lot harder (and weird looking, depending on the art style) for a two-dimensional cartoon character to have a more “3D” effect. You’ll see this in many cartoons. More “advanced” kind of cartoon styles would have more than a single outline to depict a piece of skin folding in on itself, or perhaps a close-up scene would add more details. But otherwise, most of the time when a basic cartoon character makes an expression of some kind in their face, you’ll realize it’s actually depicted using just a few simple black outlines.
Once you notice it, you’ll see this pattern pretty much everywhere. It’s a very common artistic thing, I’m sure even you’ve drawn these without even realizing what you were doing. It’s a really basic thing that’s kind of automatic for a lot of people.
Characters from The Simpsons are a good example of this, though the art style is obviously different. In that show, the outlines are a little more dynamic, and it looks more obvious that skin is folding in on itself near the eyes when an expression is being made, as opposed to the “sharper” art style of MLP where expressions aren’t as “fatty” looking.
You’ll also notice that Homer Simpson here, along with many other Simpsons characters, don’t actually HAVE eyebrows at all. However, this rule isn’t universal, as characters like Millhouse have very pronounced eyebrows at all times, regardless of expression.
This is because The Simpsons just happens to have pretty weird rules of consistency in its character designs. There’s different kind of basic templates for different kinds of characters in that show. You can think of Homer Simpson as a “type A” character design template and Millhouse as a “type B”. There’s no logical reason for this, it’s just a little weird habit of that show, as many shows have unspoken rules like that. Sometimes doing weird things like having only CERTAIN KINDS of characters have noticeable eyebrows is actually a sneaky way to make a character’s design look more interesting, or unique.
It all depends on both the show and the character design. I don’t know about you, but I think Homer Simpson having eyebrows would look very fuckin weird and off-putting. Then again, maybe that’s just because that’s what I’m used to for this character - I mean, Homer doesn’t even have eye LASHES. But it makes more sense on a character like Millhouse because the show is trying to tell us he’s awkward and nerdy. Though of course you and I know that logically, irl having eyebrows is the norm whereas someone NOT having them is really weird.
Also a lot of cartoons in general just DON’T have their characters have eyebrows either. Like I said it’s one of those weird mind-fuck things that gets weird once you notice it but until someone points it out, you’ll never notice. Some natural human things just don’t look so good in cartoons or they’re hard to draw.
Here’s another example. Do these images seem weird to you? That’s because they’ve been edited. Many cartoon humans, across very different art styles, actually reduce the number of fingers on the hand from five to four. This is because it’s hard to draw five fingers on a simple cartoon character, and it tends to look weird. But when the cartoon gets imported over to Japan, a lot of companies have to edit-in the extra finger. This is because of a weird thing in Japanese culture where the number four is “offensive”.
Between you and me though, the “sensitivity” around the number four is bullshit and it’s a thing that people in the film industry, television and even the video game industry have been begrudgingly putting up with for generations. The law is you can’t import your entertainment product (any movie, cartoon or video game character or anything else with a fictional character) if it has four fingers because the number four imposes on a “sensitive cultural matter”, but it’s just an excuse to fine people.
…Yeah, you get FINED if you don’t change your cartoon character to have five fingers (or less if you go the other direction and go with 3). And I don’t know the numbers but it’s apparently enough to make all these companies go through the extra time, effort and money to do these edits whenever importing something to Japan.
I know I’m not Japanese so I’m not one to talk about what /is/ offensive to their culture or what isn’t in this day and age, but the general attitude I’ve seen from a lot of artists is that it’s just a government taking advantage of a very old cultural tradition for the sake of a quick buck. I really don’t see too many Japanese people actually getting legitimately offended by an alien with four fingers, and apparently they Japanese government has no problem with it if you just give them some money.
Sorry I went off on kind of a tangent, but it’s an interesting thing a lot of people don’t realize. Try looking around at different cartoon characters and notice how many of them actually have four fingers or even less, even while being “human”.

It seems Bluespaceling’s eyelids and eye sockets are made more visible using the lighting. Yours aren’t easily discernable in the picture, have you tried to accentuate the lighting and compare the results?
Also her eyelids are lightly pink but it doesn’t always works the right way…
That said, you’ve got your style. People may or may not like it. I think it’s cute. The “uncanny valley” wasn’t necessary imo.

Bluespaceling hit these edges and scruffs far better than me, despite his ponyfaces seems not very natural too.
Im sure if i draw here darker brows it makes results worster.
Idk in the show when ponies get all expressive they grow eyebrows out of nowhere.
Exhibit A:
Exhibit B:
I think it would gain you more upvotes. :/

They have not noticeable eyebrows, only slight fluffs on the eyesocets upper corners and im not sure, are it noticeable in such angle and light.
(Shading such pure white gost on such place was harder than i expected)
What?
