i don’t even know what are you talking about, thats complete bs and you know it. how exactly in your world caving in and changing a character’s name that’s not even offensive in the first place is not “spineless”, and yes I know it was Hasbro and not the writers, but don’t tell me tried to protest or reason for it, it was pure censorship cos of touchy-feely soccer moms or w/e who get butthurted by everything, and they completely caved in. end of story.

I doubt that. If they were truly “spineless”, they’d let people be as nasty as they want. They’re quite willing to stand up for their beliefs; it’s just that their beliefs are more gentle and, from my perspective, more sensible.

Bryce gets it. The thing to do isn’t to bash anyone who feels offended, but to treat the character nicely so that their partially valid worries will be put to rest.
 
The sad part is, he’s unlikely to be noticed because people are too busy trying to censor the whole discussion with image spam.
