@Silverwisp19
How about we not bash the show staff?
@Millennial Dan
That banishing spell isn’t nearly as powerful as you’re making it out to be. All it did was ban Discord from entering school grounds; Starlight never took his powers or even weakened him. He is still free to practice whatever chaos he wants anywhere outside of the Friendship School. The fact that he almost effortlessly circumvents the spell just further proves how inconsequential it really was. In addition, it has also been suggested that Discord intentionally let himself get hit to make Starlight look bad in front of the students.

Actually that did not stop Discord at all.
This on the other hand was indeed hard to watch.
Could be. The show has become harder and harder to watch, so I’m not as familiar with the current writing team as I used to be.
All I know is, every time I watch a new clip, it’s pretty much garbage. A recent example I stumbled on was Starlight “banishing” Discord from school grounds. Not even Celestia can control him. Mary Sue much? And then we have stuff like this.
The “NEW” writers you mean.
No, it’s not true, you don’t decide what is objective about the show.
Irrigardless of what you are mocking, you are acting childish and insulting others simply to antagonize them.
You aren’t helping anything in the slightest and are instead attempting to create conflict.
More so, most lf us have stated many of the reasons the writing, general characterization and the moral attempted to be carried through are garbage in this case.
Simply because we don’t go English Major level in our phrasing or discussion does not invalidate the opinnion or the respective point’s put forth by them and myself.
If I wanted a three page long thesis I’d find a post on Fimfiction, not Derpibooru.

Your sarcasm and antagonistic attitude isn’t making you look any better.
But of course they had to screw her over not only once but twice.
You guys are inconsistent,you go about how all of them cant be redeemed and then throw a fit when character dont get reformed you just dont know what you want.Also dont get mad if i show your tu quoque fallacy with the word “whataboutism” ,hun.You just mad because the character you like dont get reformed ,that’s all
“They were’t right” still show the character displaying callousness at risking people life,deal with it.That does mean “i dont care if they were killed” in a sense,dont be dense
Also,the character you cite as a “whataboutism” showed remorse for their actions at one point or another,so far Lightning Dust showed none
This is ridiculous.
If you say that everypony deserves friendship and second chances you cannot exclude Dusty (or any other character).
But if you do the freaking “whataboutism”, not only are you being lazy but you’re literally proving nothing. You’re just complaining that I’m using other ponies as a standard. That’s…. literally the point! That’s the only way to use any form of meter to define fair treatment of anyone, whether in law or otherwise.
And it’s worse when you realize that “whataboutism” and the original context it’s from politically is also not gaining weight at all since it’s only just driving more and more people into the #walkaway movement. Not that I’m trying to make this political, but I’m trying to get you to realize that “whataboutism” doesn’t devalue jack shit except your own argument.
“whataboutism” is a bullshit term anyway.
Justice is justice.
If you claim justice shouldn’t be consistent, then you’re just admitting you’re being favoritistic against Lightning Dust.
