BOOKS about videogame history and omnibus comics are ridiculously overpriced in my country.

This happens to me every time I want to read in-depth books about ancient Near Eastern religions. I keep finding interesting ones and realizing that they’re over $100, because they’re mainly intended for students. I actually spent $150 for a Kindle version of Ancient Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament and it was actually worth it, in my opinion. That’s the only really expensive one I actually bought, though.
