This is what I first thought based on Megan’s expression (closing her eye). It’s also cuter even though it makes AJ look more like a dog.
It’s cool. It does look more like a tongue, but maybe add a bit more glare to the top of the tongue to make it a bit more distinct. Just a suggestion. Don’t know if that would work.

It is supposed to be a tongue, yes…sorry if that is a bit confusing, i tried my best to make the orange of her hair and the orange of the tongue look different enough

Looks like a tongue to me. It’s too reddish to be Megan’s hair.
I can’t really tell.
And vice versa.
I thought it looked like a tongue too, but seeing how the outline doesn’t line up properly I’d say it’s Megan’s hair.
How awesome would it be if the original My Little Pony The Movie was REMADE for G4?
Or maybe it’s one of those paradoxes, where the G4 will become a Remake of the G1 …
