And no team ever had started with both Green and Black before Kyoryuger.  
And, this is the first Sentai since Gaoranger to start off with a five-member team and one female.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention cars. Before Kyoryuger was announced, there were actually more car-themed sentai than dino-themed ones:
 
There’s three Car Sentai: Turboranger, Carranger, and Go-onger.
 
there were two pre-Kyoryuger Dino Sentai: Zyuranger and Abaranger.
 
(and heck, there’s still only two ninja-themed sentai: Kakuranger and Hurricanger (Ninja Captor, of course, does not count))

I think the last few generations spoiled me. I completely forgot before they did samurai/angels/pirates sentai, there was an endless cycle of government agents/alien defenders/ninja/kung-fu/animal/dino sentais that filled up the last 30 years.
