You’ve been a rude, condescending little thorn to everyone this entire time and now that someone finally backed you into a corner you can’t dare to end this with even a polite “I still just think X Y Z and therefor blah blah so whatever” and that’d be the end of it. At this point everyone can agree to disagree but instead you’re choosing the bitter and resentful path and you just can’t help yourself but to spew out a few more insults on your way out. That’s what just happened and you’re not going to get out of this with any kind of “strong suit”, and insulting the intelligence of others isn’t going to get you to any better of a position.
 
Seriously, the whole “well you were all just beneath me then, I’m not going to waste my time on you” is the most egotistical thought process you could have. I steered out of this and lost interest when it became clear to me there was nothing more to discuss and no convincing in either direction would be done. There was no point of it, we both said what we wanted and we were both disagreeing. It felt like a natural end. But you just ran away from a much more active conversation, ignored what was said, and then came back with a “well fuck you all” insult after someone dared to talk about you, without even directly replying to you. Then you just insulted the intelligence of everyone because apparently that’s all you have left.
 
You don’t even need to change your damn message, that’s the worst part about this. You can use the same defense you’ve been hanging on and just say you can see what other people are trying to say, but no one else’s argument seems convincingly more true, and everyone agrees to disagree and then the conversation just ends and everyone goes home or else starts talking about something else or to someone else. You could diffuse the situation, but instead, every single chance you’ve gotten, you sprinkle on that special little bit of arrogance and passive aggression and you then wonder why people are still arguing with you. Half the shit you write just screams “I’m smarter than you” in the subtext, that’s why you’re not exactly popular in this thread.
 
But either way, regardless of who’s logic is right or wrong, you absolutely /cannot/ ignore the last thing someone said in an active conversation, pretend they don’t exist, and then come back with an insult to their intelligence in response to SOMEONE ELSE talking about how one of the two people just vanished in the last conversation. You can’t do that without A) making yourself look even more like the loser and B) making yourself look like a /sore/ loser and C) looking EXTREMELY egotistical. And most ironic of all you say you don’t want to “entertain us clowns” but honestly, if that were really what everyone was here for, a response like that serves that exact purpose much MUCH stronger than if you had just diffused the situation and had everyone end with disagreeing in a normal, straight forward kind of way. You literally just made yourself a clown - you PLAYED yourself while talking about how you’re not going to allow yourself to be played.
 
I’m done here, I really am. I’ve been done, but after seeing a move as stupid as this I’m not going without calling it out. You can come back and insult my intelligence too, while you’re at it. You can try to be demeaning, you can try to invalidate me somehow and you can call me “sensitive” somehow while also throwing out a bunch of random insults. You can try to do EVERYTHING in your power to deconstruct me or worse yet my personal life without even knowing who the hell I am - believe me I’ve seen everything, including really stupid shit like that - I don’t care how you’re going to try to twist this into a way you can come out as “the smart one” or “the one that’s right” or whatever else would serve your ego. You can do whatever you want to mend the wound and make yourself feel better when its directed at me. But what I do care about is seeing it happen to someone else, and calling out stupid or bad behavior so that the other person can change someday. Even if they keep the same face on in response to being called out. I really do hope you can learn from this.
