Glitter Drops here was one of the two of Tempest’s childhood friends, the ones we saw in the movie. Tempest is still angry at them for abandoning her when they were young. We only know the story from Tempest’s point of view right now.

Of course she was cowering in fear. She was facing the same creature that permanently disabled her when she was young. You don’t get over a major trauma like that very easily.
And she looks like a punk for doing so. And by the end of the issue is cowering in fear.
Pride before the fall and all that.
Well, it did kinda work for me. But I never liked her that much to begin with. And just to be clear, my question was genuine. Tempest spends so much time calling out others for supposed weaknesses while at the same time acting like her side won.
If it was, then it failed to do so.
