Actually it seems the spike you get in the quest is separate from the Spike that’s been in the game for years. This is evident by the fact that he’s called Grown Up Spike instead of just Spike.
It took me awhile to get there since I don’t usually check my second town anymore but in the part where you have to find Spike, he will appear in your town if you don’t have him but then vanish after you click on him.
I guess though if you manage to finish the quest, then he will be added to your town. Just some speculation and I wouldn’t be able to confirm that with my second town because I am too far behind.
Okay, I sure hope so. I can’t wait for this event to begin!
The event hasn’t started yet but I can tell you when it starts since I have another town without Spike in it (maybe they will just give you Spike like how a certain quest gave you Starlight since she was needed for the quest).
Same here. By the way, do you have to have Spike in your inventory in order to do this event?
