They were created from wood/trees, but they weren’t made out of wood when they were ponies, and when they died they either turned into what they once were, or they just turned into what Chrysalis used to create them(wood). I’m very sleepy and tired right now, so if you think what I’m saying sounds weird sounds weird it’s probably because I was sleepy when I made this comment(and this comment looks like my previous comment, but a little different because I wasn’t satisfied with my first comment).

The evil clones weren’t made out of wood when they were ponies. I think Chrysalis just drained the lifeforce of the trees to create the evil clones, and when they died they turned into what they were made from.

The parents were worried about going to Disney’s Black Cauldron territory.
