All of this sounds like a feeble attempt to justify obnoxious behavior. This isn’t the military, they’re just a bunch of kids. Calling this kind of nonsense “needed” is just plain wrong, and it doesn’t matter what excuses people try to make up for it. You do not have to “earn” common courtesy; that’s simply the way decent people treat each other.

Derpy will drop out of school when she realizes that Pierce has made her pregnant.

Sometimes being a dick/cunt is needed for a team to grow, if the teammates don’t understand things with the good manners.  
That coach is too kind. RD felt the rightful need to be rough in his place.

There’s no thing as a given “same level” in a team sport.  
If you want respect, first you have to earn it.  
Going to practice and showing efforts, first of all.
 
If you’re still unconvinced, that’s pretty obvious you haven’t played such sports, and so you have no idea of what you’re talking about.

Honestly Rainbow Dash is acting like a jerk by being this blunt and annoyed at Derpy, but I understand her frustration since it looks the team has been having a losing streak lately. I also have a feeling this is going to be the part where Rainbow Dash will become the “I” in team soon. I wonder if the team will pull the “Coop Move” on her if she keeps this up. (meaning if Rainbow eventually starts hogging the ball then her team will do everything they can to make sure she doesn’t get it).

Derpy doesn’t show team spirit by missing a practice game? Where’s Rainbow’s spirit in treating every member of the team fair and on the same level?
 
This is why I always hated sports.

Although this was rather harsh by Rainbow if you have been on a High School Sports team you would understand. Not gonna deny Rainbow laid it on thick here. But there is a necessary commitment to team that must be present. If you’re going to miss practice you have to make it known you’re going to do so.

Good grief, no one even knows why she missed practice. You guys just assume she didn’t have a good reason. Not only that, you honestly seem to think a stupid game is worth chewing out your peers.

Because skipping practice is like wasting not only yours, but your teammates’ efforts above all.
 
Maybe it’s not Derpy’s fault - that coach looks way too soft with the players. Anyway, if she really cares about the game, she will understand.

I’m more interested in the comic apparently getting some Derpy focus.

I disagree with you guys who say this was justified. If Dash has a problem, she should consult with a MATURE individual, since she obviously can’t handle it well on her own. If Derpy is unprepared, and is unable or unwilling to change her habits, than she should be benched or kicked, NOT treated like dirt.
 
I really am surprised to see so many people defend Dash on this.
 
And Starly, I would be just as mad at her if she was picking on any other pony, it doesn’t matter that it’s Derpy. Of course, if she’s special ed and that somehow affected her ability to attend practice, Dash’s behavior becomes even more blatantly rude.

Yeah. If you get certain ads the gallery nonsense breaks. You’ll notice it eventually. It likes to slip through opera’s ad block at least.

anyway, on topic, I do think Derpy needs a random cunting now and then. She’s got a bit of social maladjustment going for her so she needs stuff delivered bluntly, else she’ll go “OKAY! :D” and then ignore it without meaning to.
