Description

Finally, it is finished: a picture of Gilda the Gryphon, as a Vozonid empress wearing robes and golden armour!

I originally planned this picture to celebrate March 9, as a tribute to SydneyRoo (the fursuiter) to commemorate a GIF on Vancoufur 2016. That one picture of an anthropomorphic gryphon dancing with children inspired me to imagine and write many stories and fictional cultures, such as the Vozonids, their space empire, their mythology, and their love of gryphons.

Yes, I based the fictional culture represented by Gilda’s clothing (“Vozonid”) from a blend of Hittite (hence the axe and khopesh sword), medieval Russian, and Southeast Asian art.

Attire largely reminds me of Chinese, though I also get a vague Egyptian vibe.
This is most likely from the stiff posture and the articles in her hands.
