While it’’s unrealted, kinda reminds me one of the very early ideas for the 2017 movie.

Hmm, maybe in this comic the ponies chosen to play the Mane Six barely resemble them. And in the future, the real Mane Six find no one believes they’re ‘the real Mane Six, because I saw that movie and you don’t look anything like them!’
Well after Fame and Misfortune and Once Upon a Zepplin, they’re probably a little more wary.
I would expect that last year’s “tie in” approach (where the comic writers had some ideas where the show was going) worked well that they would continue that as best they could indefinitely.

Isn’t Daring supposed to be the ‘fictional’ character in their universe? Granted the town of Somnambula knows Daring, but not A. K. Yearling. Isn’t it that only a select few know about one and not the other?
