the living tribunal is devoid of any emotion, friendship does not exist for him.
In fact he would certainly not care about tiny insignificant mortal beings. (He’s basically god’s right hand)
Also, to respond your first comment, the gems aren’t made for balance or anything, they are concept made material.
Also nerfed? Didn’t you read my first comment? With all the gems you’re Omnipotent. It means that if Thanos want the Tree of Harmony to cease to exist POOF gone it is.
The only limitation they have, as said in a previous comment, is that they only work in their own universe. If you accept that all power can function normally, then they have nearly no flaw.
Depends on what you consider “winning”
All powerful being: Behold my power!
Twilight: Lets be friends!
All powerful being: okay…
Edited because: Bug on previous comment.
@Chopsticks
That could be true, however.
But what about if we pit them both against the Living Tribunal, the highest of all cosmic entities in the Marvel Universe, towering in both power and superiority massive to the stones, the very being that is omnipotent and encompasses basically everything, just below Stan Lee himself.
Thanos himself has proven and stated that the Stones were usless against him, and that he is virtually the highest in the heirarchy of the whole Marvel Multiverse.
Or we could even pit them against Galactus, the Eternals, cosmic entities such as Eternity, or the Beyonders.

The Infinity Stones are primarily meant to balance out the universe. The Elements are PART of the balance of the universe, so to speak. Even if Thanos could wiped out the MANE 6, who represent the spirits, the Elements themselves would be uneffected. Considering their connection to the Tree of Harmony, The Stones capabilities would be SEVERELY nerfed. Although, since the Stones are also APART of the universe, it’d be more of a case of “User vs User”, which in that case, Twilight ALONE could beat Thanos.
HOWEVER… Considering the popularity of Marvel and the Infinity Stones, it’s more a case of “What would happen” VS. “What is accepted”
Basically, it Expectation vs Reality.
No ones wants to see Thanos get owned by My Little Pony.
And even if it happens, Majority vs Minority will say Thanos wins out of PURE SALT.
Actually, your 100% correct.
Maybe he couldn’t make it work because he’s from DC? :P
(That would admittedly be a rather meta excuse for it not working though xD)
It actually did appear in a crossover story. Darkseid got hold of it, but couldn’t make it work.

No offence meant, but…maybe that’s because the Infinity Gauntlet is part of Marvel, not DC? xD
No offense. But the Infinity Gauntlet is actually Useless in DC Universe.
Each gem is SO powerfull, that anyone who can weild it’s power could conquer nearly all existence with juste one of them, considering that they allow this :
But that’s not it! Because here we talk about the infinity gauntlet with ALL infinity stones…
It’s omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience. Literally.
I’m not joking, the one who can use ALL infinity stones together become a true God and can do pretty much everything, even the conceptually impossible like bigger than infinity or make a squared circle.
Why? because like I said every gems is the embodiment of one of the most fondamental concept of existence, and when they are put back together, it become the embodiment of every concepts, of all existence, like Nemesis was.
So why did they seems so weak? for the same reason superman was extremely nerfed (yes, he is OP, but that’s nothing in comparison to what he was capable of doing in it’s first iterations).
The real infinity stones (or gems) with the real infinity gauntlet is one of the powerfull artifact in all fiction and nothing short of an outer god or chuck norris could resist them.

On the surface, it appears that the Infinity Stones in the Gauntlet are excessively more powerful, at least in terms of scope at least. We’re looking at a literal use of the power to snuff reality and reshape it. In terms of raw ability, the Infinity Stones are certainly far stronger.
However, we’re not asking which is stronger. We’re basically asking if the two were combined in all their glory and faced each other, which would be superior for a final outcome?
For this, we can see what the Elements of Harmony have done, and how. They have turned raw Chaos power into stone. Overcame most, if not all, of the combined magical ability of weather manipulation, magic, and strength on a supernatural level (defeat of Tirek). Realize, the entire kingdom of Equestria is made up of literal superheroes with specialized, unique, and impossible powers. In each instance of it’s use, it became a living embodiment to the antithesis willpower of malevolence and stripping it of all power in turn.
The Elements of Harmony have survived through time manipulation, memory and de-materialized erasing, reality manipulation, nightmares, shadow, even energy and magical absorption. All manner of incorporeal and concepts that are literally beyond comprehension.
All 6 parts of each Infinity Stone houses power that has been defeated by the Elements of Harmony.
.
So while the Infinity Stones are likely significantly stronger, that’s also irrelevant. The Elements of Harmony work on a principle of balance and restoration through raw willpower of love and energy given form. This isn’t something that breaks or alters reality, it’s something beyond that.

Try the cosmic cube next time, at least it’s slightly more dignified for the Elements battle-wise.
I know what you mean. I actually never eat cheese (by choice, I don’t like it). xD
It is so cheesy.
This is a pic of him, “Sloppy” Joe Quesadilla:
:D lol
An asshole.
And who is this Joe Quesadilla anyway?
We do not speak his name.
I thought that position now belonged to Joe Quesada?
You will be shocked. I will not say more.
YESSSSSSS!
That would be Stan Lee’s pen. :P
