Oooh I don’t know why I didn’t see they were together, for some reason I saw two words first. Either way thanks for the help.
Благодарю is indeed one of the words for “thanks”
I’d have to go through my notes again but I think it was something like,
не - not/don’t
благо - blessing / seeing that
дарить - with the aspect as дари, which is an imperative mood, 2nd person singular (commanding, ‘you’)
So I guess I just put it together wrong, I can see now how it can be ‘You do not need to bless(thank) me’
Mostly right but the last bit “since you weren’t blessed [with one]”, I have no idea where you got it. It’s just “No need to thank me”
