The question is, is Starlight only doing it because she’s jealous of the lost attention? Or is she really actually interested in Spike? Could go either way.

That pic. Sweetie Belle’s pose and expression match Spike’s way back in adorkabletwilightandfriends’s very first comic that was tagged with spike and starlight glimmer. It’s funny to go back and read what he says about her.

What be the chances that Glim Glam finds herself fishing alongside Spike… and a tardy to the party Lily? Nothin more peaceful than a few hours of fishing while taking turns shooting glares at someone else while they try to ‘hook your catch’.

The Starlight/Spike pages remind me of those “Tales of Ribaldry” shorts from SNL. As soon as Starlight decides to stop playing and jump him some of the readers would likely complete the skit by getting upset that the endless teasing is over.

God, I hope the artist never stops teasing.
 
Half agree and half disagree. Eventually when the teasing finally stops, the suspense is gone, but a new dynamic may have to emerge. Though if the teasing keeps going, it will build up some frustration for others like myself.

I know that this is supposed to be smoldering with unresolved sexual tension but I can’t “get there” because the theme music from The Andy Griffith Show keeps playing in my head as I watch them walk towards the fishing hole.
