Ok? You’re still not making much sense, but whatever.
Can you not read? I said that show prefer memes and funny words. Even if they wanted to establish that she’s has personality disorder or that she wants to become an actress, it would be somewhat of a new development similar to her learning about knitting. But it didn’t happen. She will act like this episode never happened. And so will I, mr Duck.
That’s not what he said, nor what he was complaining about. As far as I can tell, he simply complaining that the show doesn’t align perfectly with the comics, and that somehow means that the show doesn’t care about character development and good storytelling. What I was confused about is his thought process and how those two things have anything to do with each other.
He hated this episode.
What the hell are you talking about?
Clearly her solo mission in Our Town was a lot more traumatic than she’s letting on. That or she lost her knitting magic permanently to Tirek.

Show: Look at Fluttershy who can hoof-knit a sweater for Breezies!

Fluttershy producing this level of horror is akin to Applejack’s Baked Bads- warning something is truly, really about to go sideways.

That’s me with a lot of things. Like linguistics. My tongue can’t oscillate at all for some reason, and I’m thinking of having a doctor check it out.

eyup more effort if it was deliberate and not just a foreigner impulsivly posting.
Or she’s one of those ponies who knows alot, but can’t actually do.
True.
Except this post isn’t even talking about show continuity so much as continuity between the show and comics.
Sadly this might actually be more effort than usual from the “muh canon” crowd.
In the episode she is shown to be pretty bad at knitting, whereas if I recall right in past seasons she was shown to be fairly knowledgeable about sewing. They are indeed quite different things, so it can be argued its not a retcon.
In short, a quick look at the question on a web search tells me that sewing is stitching different fabrics together, while with knitting you are actually making the fabric itself which you then stitch together.

Yeah, then in the comic they have it knitting as well but the comic was badddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
so I for one am happy that it is not cannon
Because they still have good stories and artwork, even if they don’t line up 100% perfectly with minor details from a different piece of media in the franchise?
It’s all fictional stories. Getting all fussy over which ones “count” serves no purpose.
