Yes. Exactly! It is a lie. In fact a lie spread by media and ideologues. For example, in my country, Mexico, while there are different ages in each state, the highest is below 18, and by federal law the age is 12. Of course, there are certain restrictions which give advantages to the younger individual, and there are rape laws (To me rape laws make sense and age of consent laws don’t). In germany it is 14, in France it is 15. In Spain it used to be 13 if I remember well but got increased to 16 recently.
It is arbitrary nonsense with no biological basis. Not to mention, that is only about sex. A simple love relationship in which there is no sex until they know each other better is legal with anyone regardless of age. Let’s say a Californian 27 year old fell in love with a 15 year old. If they stay as a couple without sex until the age of 18, there is no actual law against it.
The thing is there is a media circus regarding “muh pedophiles” and treating any normal male who likes teenagers or adult women younger than him as a monster. It is the same shit that homosexuals went through.
But being realistic, any male who does not find 15 year old women attractive… Is either an exclusive pedophile, an exclusive gerontophile, or homosexual. There is a reason why most Equestria Girls rule 34 focuses on teenagers.
Lol California. But 90%? Wow, I didn’t know that. I knew 16 was in the UK though. And well, at least in the US, the age of consent and the adult age don’t always match up. As far as I’m aware though, you’re considered a legal adult at 18 here. And the Californian consent age is, in fact, 18. Some states (i.e.Alabama) even have special laws for school employees, stating that they may not consent to sex with anyone under 19. It’s extremely complicated in this country. People here generally just assume though, that if you’re under 18, then you’re “not legal”.

It wasn’t like that. In fact if you check the laws in most of the world it shouldn’t be like that. Besides, how old is Yona? 14, 15? I calculate 16 actually. She is legal in 90% all the civilized world. And no, California is NOT part of the civilized world.
