The random male OC does stand out in the way OCs tend to stand out when surrounded by a group of female cannon characters obviously attracted to him. I think the main reason people gripe about it is it has the waifu thief atmosphere.
 
Like… if it were an unspecific anon it’d probably be seen as fine because people pretty much accept anon as an extension of themselves. Instead it’s a specific person’s character so it gets a little under peoples skin in a competitive sense.
 
That said I think the picture is great. I’m just analyzing for the sake of it. Pictures of this nature will always get under some peoples’ skin as it plays on their sense of competition. Accept that you’ll never please everybody.

i regret to say after looking up that oc i then looked at the artists other art and they should get an award for just how bad it is granted i cant draw for shit but that was pretty bad
