To be fair, they didn’t say “copyright Namco/Bandai” on the previous SSB either actually, except under the characters part when Pac-Man was revealed to be part of the roster. (Hope the Pacster comes back if it is a new game.)
 
In fact, Namco/Bandai’s logo isn’t featured in the game at all until the credits sequence.

TL;DR: They were making jokes involving Owen Wilson, and saying “woaw” like he did in that one movie.

Both versions of this one are good but I slightly prefer this one.

well either way, Smash in HD and on the go. can’t really complain at all.
 
a new Smash would just mean new Music, and features, and shit.
 
also the twilight princess model is a lot darker than the one used in Smash 4.

Same reason they remade MK8 for Switch rather then make a new MK9 game, I’d assume. (Not complaining as I don’t have MK8.) The firey logo does look reminiscent of the WiiU/3DS games. The “Breath of the Wild” outfit could just be a an alternative costume for Link, regardless if it’s a remake, or not. (I don’t mind either way honestly.)
 
Actually, you’re wrong. The Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf models in SSB for WiiU/3DS were pretty much the same as Brawl’s/Twilight Princess.

would they really have this complete trailer for a simple port?
 
then there is also the fact that in EACH new Smash game they use the character models from the (at the time) most recent title. Link for example, Smash64 has the OoT Model, Melee used (still) the OoT Model because they had nothing newer, Brawl used the Twilight Princess one and Wii U/3DS used the Skyward sword model.
 
so by that logic this is the 5th Smash for Switch, seeing as it uses the BotW Model for Link. (maybe that’s why they showed Mario and Link up close, to be like “yea this is new, not a port”)
 
also the Logo is different

I’d at least like to know if it’ll be a remake of the WiiU/3DS game/s, or a whole new stand-alone game. (Either way, I’m sold.)
