So did I but when the memes started crossing over into another fandom* I was into, I decided to give Jojo a try and marathoned the anime and ended up really loving it.
 
So I came for the meme, stayed because I had a lot of fun watching it.
 
(The other fandom was Pokemon. At the end of Gen 6, people were comparing Ash-Greninja with a Stand. Likewise when Sun and Moon was announced and when it was still new, there were a lot of Jojo related memes due to the Z-Moves, Gladion, and the bizarre looking Ultra Beasts.)
