Description
A full mock-up of one of the cards I made based on Forgotten Friendship, with visual assistance provided by my majordomo, Phil Srobeign.
I could’ve gone with a lot of options here, but we’ve been waiting for this moment for too long to not commemorate it as a trading card edit.

Snarkiness. I understand there is real value to playtesting. I just also like when breakable stuff seeps through.
why do you put the the quotation marks there? as though the years of testing cards go through is a bad thing

If you cut the mana, you have to cut the cost. Maybe {1}{R/W}, and I’m not sure mono-white should be allowed to run this card.
I run Boros usually and having RRWW on turn 2 is not that hard. That said, the answer to your question is that cards on this site are timed to be relevant to current releases, and thus do not have the “benefit” of the years of fine-tuning actual cards have.
an extra mana is relevant though. The kinds of things you can cast off 3 mana vs 4 mana is noticeable in most formats, and a single mana can sometimes be the thing that determines if a combo can go off this turn or if it has to wait.
It’s not that far off from Pyretic Ritual.
