I was talking about the writers of the show, not people downvoting my pics, besides, some of my mud edits have more upvotes than downvotes (look at this pic, for instance). Why won’t the writers cover the Equestria Girls in mud when they do it to ponies all the time, along with slime or garbage, and, when it comes to fetishes that are innocuous to people without them, tying them up. They even like to focus on the ponies’ butts a little too much. So, having Equestria Girls fall into or play in the mud should be as easy as having Sunset and Twilight, and presumably Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie, in the rain.

Put simply, fetishes are just created from the way our brains developed. Some fetishes are more common than others and thus more accepted (people liking the same thing), while rarer fetishes even if more tame will be rejected.
Like holy hell do I find the incest, impossibly/morbidly obese and diaper fetishes disgusting yet they’ll have upvotes in the three digits. But unlike those people, when I see those images I simply filter without downvoting because I know what mud does for me their fetish likely does for them.
That is the way I look at it anyway.
IKR? What is it with their aversion to mud in EqG? It’s not a problem with the ponies. Though it’s not technically mud, even Celestia got slimed at the gala. Even if some people have a fetish for it, a.) Mud is completely innocuous to anyone without the fetish, and b.) The writers like to put fetish fuel in the show, as long as they keep it kid-friendly.
At LEAST they canonized rain in EqG.
