To be fair, after watching the special, Sunset was kinda mean in the beginning. If she did the same thing in the past several times, i can see how a hatred like this comes about. Of course you need special cartoon-magic to forget a character exist after not seeing her for 5 seconds.
But Green Isn’t Your Color.

Somebody already did that, but not many people noticed.
Oh that’s it?😐
The two things wrong with your sentence were “You’re grey” (ok, gray is a variant spelling).
The two things wrong with my first sentence were “There are two”
And the two wrong in my second sentence of course, were “and with that one, too”. xD
Huh?😵
(And with that won, two; and also this). ;D
But, I was still right. There was only one coloured image at the time, so I went with it. Anyways, how is the book?
Easy. I looked under the character tag. :P
Lol. I always assume people are male on the internet Xp
Sometimes there’s an artist you can just feel innocence in their account and know they’re female. I’m looking at you, Fluttershy The Kind and Egophiliac and Crowne Prince Or just something - it’s weird, like just something vague that’s different about how they art.
Also maybe it’s cause the US is such a big country that only borders two others, so culturally we’re not used to encountering people very often from others, and there’s so much land you can easily spend your whole life here (and many people do. There’s a lot of people I wonder if they’ve ever even met someone from another country).
Just look at MLP - it’s very Equestria-centric. Of the hundreds of episodes there’s only been like, 3, maybe, outside Equestria and its
vassalprotectoratetributaryvery close neighbor, the Crystal Empire. And even if you count that, that’s still like maybe 8 or so episodes out of hundreds.Yeah, I wasn’t saying anything bad against American patriotism…just the fact that there’s a general assumption on the internet that everyone is American. I’ve actually come across this quite a lot of times since I first came online over 20 years ago, in that the moment I speak to anybody they assume “she’s an American” by default, and are extremely surprised when they later find out that I’m not* because of something I say in passing.
(*Not to mention the surprise some of them experience when I tell them I’m a guy lol xD)
You have to look at a color a certain way for it to be saturable, but IRL, and the way color is stored in images (afaik), if it’s truly 0 saturation then that means all the RGB values are equal, and I think the RGB is how color is stored, so… you’d kinda have to just pick an arbitrary color from RGB to increase the value on more than the others, otherwise you’d just get brighter grey.
When you use HSL sliders in a program and move the saturation up from 0 that’s kinda what it does. Unless you just slid it down in the same session, in which case it may store the hue in RAM, but if you just open a new image, then for any file type afaik selecting a 0 saturation part of the image will have the hue slider default on 0 (conventionally red).
@Yet_One_More_Idiot
Hey now. This country could use some unity. It’s so darn divided right now. I’ll take this as a step in the right direction. And I think it’s addressed to just the US, too.
And there’s a lot of truth to it - it’s calling on our culture and history as a unifying force, and it’s got a good point in that. There’s a lot, I mean a lot of subcultures in the US, but we do largely share a baseline culture, as well.
Perhaps the best example to people who may be on this site in general is American emphasis on individual autonomy. I don’t know anyone American who likes the idea of a draft, but plenty of countries have compulsory service even without a war calling for it, yet at the same time we have a great deal of respect for our soldiers - at least for the most part, we can at least agree to be greatful for their service and sacrifice.

B-but she was ignored and alone! That totally justifies her destroying the friendships of people who she explicitly would not talk to, because obviously having difficulty socializing with people means that THEY are the assholes!
Honestly, all things told, I would have had Wallflower actually be one of Sunset’s old victims from her bitchy days. Her being an anti-social jerk who hates people for not talking to her, despite her never taking the initiative, and thus wanting to literally murder the personalities of everyone around her, just makes her a deranged monster. Having her be a victim of Sunset, seeking revenge, and forcing Sunset to both confront her past directly and make Wallflower realize that she had become just as bad as the person who had reformed herself, would make a more engaging character who actually could be forgiven.
