anypony he feels he can prove found this site through one of the chans
That’s probably, like, a tenth of the entire userbase.
@PonyPon
imposible without dubious legal means
It’s a privately run website, they can poopcan whoever they feel like for whatever reason or lack thereof.
That would be petty, unfair, and imposible without dubious legal means.
I found this site through google myself.
Don’t forget he voice too Goldie Delicious 😊.

I “take mirth” in watching and discussing pony, sometimes making gifs, sometimes making edits, and enjoying fan content. I hate leaks, despite what you believe, and I try to spoiler my posts properly, but if there’s a discussion going on, I’ll join in.
Who cares at this point?
People who… give a damn about the fandom? We’re still gonna be here for a while after G4 wraps, and some percentage will carry over into the G5 fandom.
@Background Pony #BCEF
You’re not really wrong, bruh, but you’re also not really supposed to say it out loud on account of site rules.
And rehost them and set up torrents of them and seed them and post them everywhere and chortle heartily as people trying to avoid spoilers are confronted with them.
Fuck off with your shite protection of arsehole culture. You take mirth in being an absolute fuckbag to all those that don’t partake in your specific type of merriment, and your pretending otherwise paints you as an idiot that thinks he can fool the crowd.
What the crap are you babbling about?
Also, “channers” weren’t responsible for the leaks, we just discuss them.
/v/,/a/,/co/,/mlp/ being sadomasochist and locking themeselves in daily self-imposed 20 minutes of self flagelation ,needlessly obsessing on content you made clear time and time again you never enjoyed .Your lot have mastered and crafted nerd attitude that were parodied in The Simpsons in the nineties with Comic Book Guy or inspired The Eltingville Club comic book ,attitude were spread far and wide outisde of some closed gardens on Google Groups circa 2000.Fandoms are full of people like you nowadays and everybody know the culprit #BringBackTheNormies

>hurting the fandom
Who cares at this point? No offense but the show almost over anyway.The ride finally ending ,babe and at the light of what happened (and that i predicted numerous times),the industry can finally draw their conclusion about which peripheric demographic are worth pandering to :-)
Spoiler : Not “Fans” coming from website ending in -chan responsible from 3 massive leaks including a then unreleased theatrical feature that cost around 50 millions of dollar IIRC.If the fans come from the Chans,shit gonna hit the fan and the money you invested go in the garbage can
So with his contribution to the episode being finished, I can fully enjoy his work and artistic voice talent as those characters. Seeing the episodes early didn’t diminish my enjoyment of that. I eagerly look forward to hearing what music William Anderson writes for these episodes, and what immersive sounds the sound designers and editors (and foley guys) come up with. (There are like ten guys all involved with the sound, so I can’t name them all here, but Adam McGhie is one of the sound editors, for example.)
Edited
well yeah, whether or not it’s stealing, I won’t do something if the guys in blue come after me. doesn’t mean it’s right, but reality’s more about calculated risk than about right or wrong.
@Background Pony #65D3
you should start up the conversation again, if that happens, so that people who waited could put their two cents in. won’t be as many, but there should be enough. unless you’re disappointed that someone else already posted what you wanted to get the credit for posting? that can be a bummer sometimes, but at least somebody posted it.
not only do I miss leaks, I usually end up watching the episodes like a month late, so I’m kinda not helpful to anyone.
@The Smiling Pony
just because the law says it’s stealing doesn’t mean it is
That… is not an attitude calculated to keep you out of jail.
nothing is taken, therefore nothing is stolen. all that law says is “I’m talking about whoever steals this stuff” with no claim that it’s an act of theft at all. you could interpret it to imply that it’s theft, but in the face of the fact that nothing is missing, you’d be wrong.
besides, just because the law says it’s stealing doesn’t mean it is. maybe the law is wrong, and needs to be changed. maybe a bad law was passed in 1996, which has since only increased social stratification.
there’s also the fact that the my little pony movie isn’t a secret.
Leak generally implies someone from inside intentionally or unintentionally let something slip. This was straight up someone expending effort to get into a system they weren’t supposed to be in and spreading what they found around. The whole “it’s data and the original wasn’t moved or destroyed” argument is pointless.
it’s espionage, not stealing
U.S. Code Title 18, Part I, Chapter 90, § 1832 disagrees.
I didn’t say it was authorized access, or that it was ethical to take it, but it’s espionage, not stealing. and the espionage has nothing to do with the file; it’s all about breaking in.
also the file was leaked, not stolen
You’ve been terribly misinformed by someone– it was most definitely stolen via unauthorized access to DHX internal email servers, and if/when the FBI finds out who was responsible there most definitely will be criminal charges involved.
look, I don’t mean to bullshit you. I don’t know the word for “made to not talk about it because holy crap spoilers” so I said banned, but I didn’t mean like… banned banned. it looks really bad now that I think on it… what I meant was that there’s a chilling effect, which stops us from hyping early. I don’t even think that’s a bad thing, necessarily. why should people have the freedom to ruin everyone else’s day by chattering about spoilers? I just think if we can clearly mark spoilers, we can mitigate most if not all of the damage of a leaked episode, and anything more than that doesn’t help.
also the file was leaked, not stolen.
@TexasUberAlles
yes, and I too know all the facts from the sites I run that I didn’t link to, and the numbers I’m not quoting. I’m totally not bullshitting you since I have all these credentials you’re unaware of and have never heard about. I’m doing professional double-blind studies, not just sort of eyeballing things, looking for how to frame it as a disaster. so go do all the ground work now to prove that I’m right, otherwise I’m right by default. you can trust me. I’m from tumblr!
but seriously, TSP is great, but even great people can be emotional about spoilers, and blow things out of proportion. I don’t even know what episodes leaked, much less who drew fanart of them or not. all I know is that discussion of them has (perhaps justifiably) been prevented. which is probably why I don’t know about any of this.
