I mean,Albafica、Regulus and Cardia didn’t agree.
But unlike SS,LC described true gold saints,for they’re obtain victory thorough hard struggle,and defeat much more powerful enemies than them,like Cancer and Capricorn.On the contrary,gold saints in SS like Deathmask were defeated by BRONZE saints,which make them looks like noobs.

So far, only Episode G assassin and Saintia Sho have avoided the formula, and even then Episode G has a formula of it’s own… And a plot that never got resolved
I hear ya, man. When i was reading “Next Dimension” i was like “OH COME ON, THIS AGAIN!? (crossing the sanctuary, again).
I’m su pissed they canceled “Lost Canvas”. I know it’s not “canon”; but it’s the best story arch in Saint Seiya besides the original 12 Houses of the Zodiac from the 80’s
So much potential wasted. The concept itself it’s AWESOME. The Music is SUPERV. The cloths and character desings in the anime are BADASS, but Kurumada does not seem to take risks with his story…
It has so much potential. So much things they can explore and do… AND THEY DO NOTHING WITH THEM!
Imagine SS expanding beyond Earth and go beyond the stars (yes, like marvel and dc having a cosmic and mystic), how magic would be different from Cosmos (like LC explored with Regulus during his time with the Celtic runes), the different mythologies, use the steel saints to their fullest, they’re freaking iron mans with spiderman like physical capabilities!
yeah, it’s the kind of series one loves to hate but hates to love. xD

Don’t forget the time limit of 12 hours to finish the task at hand and long periods of conversation between attacks!
Don’t forget that someone will most likely get blinded, lose one or most of their Senses, be in denial of who is truly manipulating who, sacrfice themselves via shooting into the sky, possessed, or have it revealed that they have twin sibling.
Then you will know it is following the Saint Seiya “formula”. Happens nearly every arc. Love it anyways.

But that’s Saint Seiya Omega… not really what i had in mind when i made this Pony-Saint Seiya crossover xD (I don´t really like Omega, to me is just the classics: 12 houses of Zodiac, Asgard, Poseidon Arc, Hades Chapter and maybe souls of gold and lost canvas)
