The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Truth be told, the Crystal Ponies are more like the Felmer (Snow Elves), who were the slaves of the Dwemer, except without the whole “degrading into blind, cave dwelling, surface-hating savages” thing.

It’s not just you.

I’ve noticed the crystal ponies have a habit of standing absolutely still, too. Like statues.

All the Towers have a “Heart Stone.” The Heart of Lorkhan was The Heart Stone for Red Mountain, The Amulet of Kings for White-gold tower etc.
If The Crystal Heart and the tower at the center of The Crystal Empire turned out to be references to The Elder Scrolls lore, I might just cream myself.

The Clopper
I can understand where Op is coming from, there are a few interesting coincidences. Such as the magic heart and all suddenly vanishing.

But I cant get the feeling of them being comparable. They are just too different in many core ways.

@Wizardski
Abused to the point that they’re emotionally hollow shells, of course. And once Sombra has used them to their full extent, the Crystal Ponies (now Changelings) would be banished and left to die in the badlands (which would become the Changeling’s home).
This would sound like a really dark backstory, if I did it. 0_0

The Dwemer in the Elder Scrolls took in the Snow Elves (Falmer) since the Snow Elves were losing a war against Men. The Dwemer betrayed them and turned the Falmer into their slaves, feeding them nothing but poisonous mushrooms that resulted in their blindness and turned them into monsters with a hate for all surface-dwellers.
I want to see the fandom do this to the Crystal Empire and the Changelings (Crystal Ponies would be responsible for the creation of the Changelings).

You know, now that I think of it, it’s still not certain if the Khajiit are beastmen or elves. Considering the legend of how Asura created the Khajiit and the fact that some subraces of Khajiit are almost indistinguishable from Bosmer. TES has a lot of elves.

@A Sad Pony: They said somewhere in skyrim that they were called dwarves by giants because they were little in comparison and that this name stick to them

Dwemer ruin look more steampunk. Maybe some resemblance with the ayleid ruin from oblivion since both used some crystal but still not that much.

I made a .gif once
Wizardski: Except the Dwemer are elves, that are called Dwarves by everyone for some reason.

Mmm. I’m not completely up to snuff on my Elder Scrolls lore. I just remember them apparently being the series’ equivalent to dwarves, so, yeah… :I
