How about shipping Spitfire with the Masked Matterhorn? We’d get Supermarine! Double pun points!
Ember and Thorax: “Firebug”, but only because “Like a moth to the flame” is too long.
Ah, nice. How many people would get that reference, though?
Which was named after a person who wrote many books about different bird species (particularly in the Americas). So the word in this context combines Fluttershy’s understanding of nature (particularly how many times we’ve seen her speak to birds), and Twilight’s love of knowledge (and books, of course).
Audubon? First I’ve heard that word, but it’s a bird breeder/conservationist society?
A bit clunky, but not bad. Maybe streamline it to Audubon? Ooo! We could call Applejack/Berry Punch Applesauce!
So like ShyTwi might be… Nature Book?
It’s where they take a defining feature of two characters’ designs, and combine them to make a new name that represents both. Like red from Ruby and Black from Blake (their defining colors in their designs) and combine them to get the ship name Ladybug. You can check out the chart for some hilarious examples: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_bnr68pepImz1RDq7uJiQraVnDjU2D0vqmrSE85sF_U/edit#gid=1295997636
What’s the RWBY convention?
I rather like the RWBY convention. You get some really cute names from that like Nuts’n’Dolts or Nesquick.
Because it makes more visual sense - at least to some people. I can see how it’d look odd if you haven’t seen the pony underneath, but it kinda makes sense to me, now, so I kinda just saved my own edited version with the two superimposed and a little bit of the old version erased (I see that version also lacks the bow, some text, and the blush is less intense) so as to include Coco’s bow, the bottom of Rarity’s speech and the more blushy blush.
Also, heh… Well, you’re still not drawing all of her. After all, because humans only see 2d projections of 3d space, you can only see one 2d projection (image) of her at a time.
She likes to tease her
girlfriend, also Rarity doesn’t seem too eager to displease her.I did one at first, but it turned out to look really odd with one leg completely hidden from sight. Besides, why would I want to cover up any part of the cute pone?
You…
I like you.
What’s funny is even on the sfw version, something about the way it’s drawn you can tell it’s a sfw version of a nsfw thing, lol.
But mostly the ghosting of the table just looks kinda odd. There’s obvious reasons to do it on a nsfw version but it’s not such a big deal to hide half the pony behind the table on the sfw version.
I’m only guessing there’s a nsfw version, too. It’s just the way so much attention is paid getting the shape actually right on the navel, groin and inner thighs with little organic imperfections instead of just using a smooth curve, I think, that make it look that way and tell the artist paid far more attention to that curve than, say, the left foot or upper back - which look good, but just aren’t as detailed
Lol, yeah, I love it. I probably should’ve said something about noticing it earlier :p
@Background Pony #F55D
Just dared her to say “blah” a thousand times.
Rarity had every choice not to :p
@wrabbit
I think “Marshmallow Coco” is just an exception to the way we usually name ships and the rest stick with the combined names thing.
Well, most of them. There’s also “Coco Pebbles”, but nobody ships Coco with Maud.
