Okay okay BUT. What if, there was one spot originating from the womb and it splits in the middle of the cord and connects to both bellies?
Good question. Since it would be located where the umbilical cord attaches to the fetus during development in the womb, it could conceivably be either on the upper or lower torsos. Personally I’d consider it more logical to have it on the lower torsos, since that would be the part of the body with the most and largest blood vessels - but the upper torso with a closer proximity to the brain has merits, too…
And I’m starting to really overthink this.
Maybe in both places? They are half-magical creatures, so they have mixed nature.
Where would the belly button be?
