You know, I WANT to disagree, because the Democrats HAVE been worse for the better part of a decade (like, no more Bush meant they no longer had to be the sane ones), but then Trump wins and the GOP start acting like it’s the Bush Era all over again!
 
On the other hand, the GOP NEEDS control of Capital Hill i order to be dangerous. Once Trump is out, they’ll be mostly fangless once more. The Democrats maintain way too much soft power outside of Capital Hill, so they’re ALWAYS dangerous.

I do agree that the Democrats have been a tad shifty (cough Bernie cough) but to me they are the lesser of two evils. Of course it would be nice if both parties were abolished, but let’s just say that I wouldn’t mind if only a certain one went goodbye, or if it went first.
 
However I do think that though you may not be exactly in the same place as me, you aren’t too far off for my liking. I would not be surprised if you are an independent, and I might even respect you more for that.
 
Side note: I don’t think comments are a good idea. I’m not saying that comments should be eliminated, nor am I saying the mods are worthless, just that the latter need to be more vigilant. Politics, left or right, have no place here. Don’t be selective in your enforcement, just delete anything that isn’t about the image. In other words, do your job more.
 
Now before the mods come saying I am talking back, or someone mentions 1984, this is just feedback, like you would give for a service irl, and that I am of the opinion that, given excessive freedom leads to chaos and excessive order leads to totalitarianism, I would choose order if I had to choose one.

I’m just worried they wouldn’t be able to pull it off, given that, with a few exceptions, romance has never been this franchise’s strong suit.

I honestly think the best way they could present it is without any sort of fanfare or special notice. Just two ponies who care about each other and want to do right by the child they take care of, the same as any other family.

A lock is not preferable. Just because people who insist on talking about Nazis everywhere they go are being asked to leave doesn’t mean that others have to shut up, too.
 
I am also interested to see how or if it will be presented in the show. Odds are it will be like Vinyl and Octavia. Bonbon and Lyra are more over the top, especially in the EQG specials, but with Vinyl and Octavia they “just live together”, so it’s more understated and just “normal”.
