Description
Realizing what just happened, Sabe cannot believe that he yet again has tripped over another rock that he didn’t notice.
He proceeds to blame the rock, but suddenly hears an EEEK! from a some-what short distance away. He quickly realizes that the sound came from none-other than Uganda, who sounds quite distressed.
He then finally rises to his hooves in concern for her.
Sabe’s finally back on his hooves! HOORAY!
Now Save Uganda, you lazy jackass!

I don’t know how you have the patience to color for that long! I saw you said somewhere that you were running out of pencil for Sabe and now I understand XD
I’m not entirely sure what direction to go with my characters, I’ve currently got a zebra named Zen who’s a nurse/healer and she has a half brother who’s a zony named Fenn, his two friends are Dilhoukarava (Dil) the okapi and Jaffi the giraffe. I was thinking about making some lions as, well, not exactly bad guys, more…intermediate..
but they didn’t appear to be sentient in the one appearance they made, like all the cats (except capper and the chimera who might count (?) ) houses are also a weird thing because I can’t decide if they would have them or Just kinda live outside like they all are in your comic, there’s definitely small huts at least with the zebras, that’s about all I have 😅
Oh wow! Thank you so much! Glad you really enjoy my story so far!
Normally it takes me roughly about 6 - 8 hours to fully color one page, so I’d say depending on the panel’s complexity, it takes roughly one to two hours or so to fully color and shade. Sometimes if it is simple enough, maybe like a half an hour or so.
I guess I have a steady hand and color within the lines, though I’m not entirely sure myself how I’m able to make this comic look so smooth within the traditional medium. I surprise myself sometimes.
And that’s really cool that my story has inspired you to develop your characters more!
I’m inspired to do more with my zebrican Ocs now.. I’ve currently got four but that’s “probably” (not a possibility on earth that it won’t) going to change XD
