And here I am, hoping to spend my future career as a scientist specializing in Albert Einstein’s theory of gravity - general relativity - and everyone keeps talking about Newton being upset over Pinkie’s violation of his earlier, less complete theory of gravity that knew nothing of curved space and time that fascinate me so much I’m willing to spend decades studying it… ‘tis a sad day Xp
 
Newton says Pinkie falls because there’s a force of gravity on her. That’s what you learn in high school.
 
Einstein, though, said Pinkie doesn’t feel any force at all. (neglecting air resistance, of course). This greater understanding of gravity, space, and time, allows us to understand black holes, make GPS satellites, understand the origin and fate of the universe, and one day, will probably be what allows us to invent something like warp drives so mankind can transcend to an interstellar civilization. I’m an Einstein fan :P
