Okay, this sells it. Spike is a motherbucking genius. He can see profit in almost everything, he is incredibly humble and charming, cares deeply for his family and friends, can sympathize with everypony almost immediately, has a passion and mastery for cooking, has a way with words even suave diplomats envy, and he sure is putting to good use every Royal Lesson Celestia might’ve taught him over the years.
 
Heck, the dude alone managed to forge an alliance with changelings and dragons thanks to his actions. Not to mention being seen as the greta Hero of the Crystal Empire. I sometimes wonder if Twilight could ever survive without him.
