there has only been a handful of unrepentant antagonists in the series yea. Hell there is even implications that chrysalis will eventually be reformed. Albeit they were smart enough to give the evidence as a moment of hesitation at the end of the season 6 finale. Her pride, anger, and perhaps madness overwhelmed that hesitation in the end

Because character development means shit to some people. They just want her to be a cardboard cutout villain.
Don’t get me wrong I like her as a bad guy, she’s pretty awesome that way. But I’m not gonna freak out that they’re doing pretty much what the entire show has been about lol
