Maybe I could’ve added Rainbow Dash as Miz…
…I can’t even BEGIN to say what’s wrong with this.
It kinda makes sense, since Shane was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. (Also, is it meant to be Face Shane or Heel Shane?)
People like Diamond Tiara now.
To be honest, some WWE fans like Reigns as a much larger portion find him to be overpushed, just as much as Starlight is liked by some FiM fans while feeling overexposed by a larger portion of the audience
@the metal bronyhead
And to be honest once again, the man called Leati Joseph Anoa’i had a pro wrestling career that could be compared to a mix between what happened with Luna and Starlight on the show.
Initially pushed individually after the Shield breakup because he was so popular as a part of it, WWE failed to understand the reason why he was good in the Shield, and the reason for his success, once he was on his own, like Princess Luna (for who Hasbro decided to cave into the fans’ fantasies in making her this overly dark and depressed character in later seasons when she was a slightly clumsy princess rendered socially awkward by 1000+ years of solitude but who could have fun in her SOLE episode as Princess Luna in the first two seasons) and in both cases they hit critical lows in terms of quality, and I would’ve gladly added popularity too were it not for the armies of Luna fanboys STILL considering she’s somehow the best princess, in the past few years (RR 2015, WM 32 & 33 are examples for the Big Dog; A Royal Problem, her appearence in A Hearth’s Warmiung Tail, and that GOD-AWFUL S05E13 episode I refuse to mention the title of for the Lunar Princess).
But he’s also been pushed down our throats for 3 pissing years by the creative team as the greatest thing ever whereas in reality he is BORING as a character. Oh, sure he can deliver somewhat decently in the ring, but he’s just stale from a creative standpoint. Now, how long have we known Starlight ? Since April 2015, less than a week after Anoa’i’s first WM main event, in fact. And she’s part of the main cast since November 2015, once again, she’s been pushed by Hasbro for several years. And she both qualify as the most boring villain (with a certain S7 villain) and the most boring side character in the show.
Yep still
If a lot of people find him overrated, is he still overrated?
He’s been a heel before, imagine that he’s in his Lord of Darkness persona from 1999.
Applejack
I did the Silver Spoon = Shane just so I could make the Silv O Mac pun :P
As for Starlight…well, remember when she was a VERY mixed response character when she joined in with the main characters after Season 5? Loads of people were really pissed off with how it went. You could say, Hasbro did some terrible booking right there.
Starlight should not be Roman Reigns. Because people actually like Starlight. Not sure who she is analogous to, frankly.
