Been on the fence about uploading this for a while since there are technically no ponies in it, but it’s the header to my story blog that I’ve had going for a while. I’ve fallen off of updating it as of late, but the story is nowhere near finished. I do intend to get back into it very soon, and hopefully turn it into a proper story one day.
>I think they’re referring to the ugly Fallout 4 “assault rifle” that looks like it’s made with an old Vickers machinegun water cooling jacket.
Though FO4’s guns are either terible, or carbon-copied from older games, no exceptions. Bethesda can’t guns.
@Gadget_Steelmare
I dunno, actually, they just might be Chinese.
so a straight up big metal cilinder that somehows has a high firerate?
and by the tatical night vision thingy, if it looked very makeshift, it would fit, but someones are just so polished and perfect that dont fit at all
Something like that!
@team blueplant
I think they’re referring to the ugly Fallout 4 “assault rifle” that looks like it’s made with an old Vickers machinegun water cooling jacket.
@Barhandar
Also, when I said tacticool nightvision goggles, I meant the sleek and sexy looking type. That’s not Fallout chique.
metal bottle?
Come on, tacticool nightvision goggles are totally Fallout-related as long as they’re zeerusty and ATOMIC-powered. Oh, and display everything in an obnoxious shade of green. And AR-15 is only not Fallout-related because it would be underpowered and obsolete by the time the nukes hit.
Meanwhile a metal bottle that somehow shoots bullets rapidly is definitely not Fallout-related, and neither are non-weapon power supplies that run out in a few minutes.
again, science fiction, it has some explanation of it
but sometimes somethings just feel really out of place, like that big pegasus enclave plane i was talking about, it will take a lot of fuel, maintenance, resources, people, etc, to the point that isnt practical to use it
or that somehow someone found a (lets say) fighter jet, somehow found spare parts for it or made the parts out of scrap and somehow made that jet plane work
or just have a lack of tactic, just get big tanks and having no smaller, faster or difficult to hit tanks to serve different roles on world where kids can use mini nuclear weapons whit ease
but atleast yours, as said earlier, the whole geography location makes it very different from other fallout histories whitout loosing its charm or stop being fallout, i mean, we all saw everything in the US, but what about the rest of the world? china was involved, and so (because commies) russia would have got nuked too, and because it russia, you can create your own raiders, maybe be kinda inversed making the whole goverment and robot being commies obseced whit capitalism and capitalist spies, all that stuff
a whole world of posibilities that gives me metro vives wich i like a lot
All I’m going to say is that you should look into the history and timeline of the actual Fallout series, and look at the absolutely unrealistic and outlandish technology that’s used in that. If you take issue with unrealistic technology and other stuff, Fallout is not the series for you. As for the other points, authors and content creators are always going to put their own spin on things. How canon it is to the source material is entirely dependent on the creator themselves, and should not be taken as a view of the entire fandom. It’s better to view each story as its own thing, since they all vary so wildly.
FoE, Project Horizons, Pink Eyes, etc. All are different from each other. I tried to separate my story from the original and sidefics via geography, so that way I could do mostly my own thing while still staying relatively true to the source material.
I can understand your view somewhat though. I’ve seen a few things that say they’re FoE-related, yet are clearly not. AR-15s and tacticool night vision goggles are NOT Fallout-related, guys. C’mon.
the simple fact that says equestria there makes it pony, or atleast, community related
my main problem whit fallout equestria stuff is how unrealistic, overused or cliche some histories can be, its a science fiction world (i i know i know, magical ponies whit horns n such, but even the whole magic horn thing has some sort of scientificall explanation to it) like this whole pegasus conclave that whit their unnecesary big “planes” that break all aereodynamic laws and phisics, besides looking very unpractical and unefective. or this gigant ass clean normal city that looks taken out of some futuristic sci-fi universe and dosent looks or fits into the fallout universe. i even saw one being in space.
other ones just being repetitive, ya know, the whole guy was born in a vault but decides to leave it for reasons and never came back, at some points find a zebra that dosent trust, bla bla bla usual stuff
aside from that, everything you will do will recieve negative feedback, that applies to everything and everyone, atleast i didnt just put some hate comment hiding behind the anon button to later on get the comment deleted by rule #0, i try to look both sides of the coin, as stated earlier
i just didnt make a good first comment, that was my mistake
Stalliongrad is generally thought of as the pony version of Russia. As for why I called you out on what you said, first you basically insulted the subject matter, then you dropped an extremely backhanded compliment on it. It just really stung seeing that as the very first comment on here. I’d been debating uploading this picture for over a year because I was unsure of how it would be received.
And what I meant by “no ponies in it” was that there were no ponies in the picture, even though it’s pony-related.
i just pointed out that, unlike many others, this one is somewhat original
want me to explain further? okay
this one, unlike others being in the so clasical murica fallout stuff, its on a cold irradiated land where cheeke breeke pones(or just crazy rusian hoomans, because of what the description says) roam around whit AKs and drinking 10 bottles of vodka a day, probably riding mutant bears
wich is a welcome relief from all the murica shiet other fallout stuff has, because, ya know, russians are a meme
im a fan of the metro series, i take a cold irradiated russian land more interesting and dangerous that the usual US lands all other fallout games take place on
also, im not judging the bloody art, the art is good, just the tittle, why not moscow? stallingrad sounds like its more ww2 oriented, atleast for me
That’s because I don’t have it written up as a story on anything like FiMFiction. It’s written as a collection of small diary entries on my story blog. It’s not very well-known, which is why probably nobody on here has heard of it. I don’t mind too much. At some point I do need to go back and revise some of the older posts to fit in with the newer ones. It started out very rough and disjointed before I eventually began forming a proper story line in my head for the whole thing.
@team blueplant
And you can just take your negativity and go elsewhere. I’m happy with this. It means a lot to me that my friend did this for me. If you have a problem with Fallout Equestria stuff, blacklist the tag instead of seeking them out to make rude comments on.
Edited
Cover art looks neat though.
just, really?
no wonder why fallout equestria is one of the most filtered tags
but hey, atleast this one is somewhat creative
