It’s got two sources; first, the stored magic taken from Twilight over the years (stopped from draining when Twilight was freed), and second (according to page 244), it’s siphoning power from another alicorn, which has to be Princess Sterling. The others presumably freed her just now.

The show is contrived.
i would argue that. this entire plot here is simply a line of ever increasing contrivances in my opinion.
and opinion that is based on the fact that they are increasingly contrived.
Some other source of magical power that was magnifying her fighting abilities, probably an alicorn.
