I don’t get what you’re saying. There’s no queens as those tall pieces are kings per the definition that each player must have at least one king each. Sure, the piece might be a queen, but if they still play the real chess rules, then a king is a king regardless of which symbol you use.

Twilight’s trying to use her King like a Queen. Starlight is in check, but not mate–Twilight’s King isn’t threatening that space.
