Forgot about the ponying up. If she ever tried flying with her super speed, which wouldn’t put friction on her shoes… Definite Sonic Rainboom!
That’d be awesome. She gets wings ponied up, so it’d not be impossible to see her one day do an aerial Rainboom, but it’d be extremely cool if she could do one while running, with or without wings, perhaps. :3

Makes sense. And she was probably so rushed she ran twice as fast as she normally would have with super speed, causing both the friction and the crash.
I wonder if she could do a Sonic Rainboom if she had a straight enough path to run with fireproof shoes?

Same thing with the Flash: The Speed Force creates a protective aura around her body that isolates her from friction and heat.
